Everyone thinks their's is the best naturally. This is like a science fair, the booth with the most visitors will have something made with modern tools. Even if it's not original, it still attracts more people because it's cooler than the other people's inventions made out of sticks and pieces of electrical tape. It's all about the final appeal of it.
I naturally expected a rant agaisnt my work, but I still don't find that coloring on your hands, or making a little sign out of coloring pencils, leaving 90% of the page white to be prize worthy. Sorry if I dissapointed you all, but it was as original as everyone else, just made in a sophisticated way. We have the tools of modern technology, and I used them. Whenever I do a work for school or anything, I always use this motto : aim to impress. And that's pretty much what I did here.
Now if anyone else would like to rant agaisnt my work, please tell me why you should have won instead of me, and don't say ' it was more original ' , because everyones submissions were all original.
Note: All derogatory statements to past winners will result in you being disqualified from any future waves, and it might not just be L4D2, so I would watch it if I were you. :/ I don't decide the winners, VuTalers don't decide the winners, an outside panel does, so please don't voice your opinion on how lame someone's entry was compared to others. It's all fair game. Also, the panel is not a single person, it is a group of people that I know and they are also gamers. The panel switches every time.
Please, just drop it and continue for the next wave. It's not like it's the end of the contest.
Hmm. I'll admit, I can see why people believe Ratosai should have won. He created it using his own hands with paint. If he made a mistake, he couldn't simply press ctrl+z and erase it. Infamous just used photoshop and slapped things together, however it was still his own creation and a lot of artworks are made by slapping random things together. I believe the reason Infamous won was because Ratosai's effort mainly went into the part that said "Steam" which has nothing to do with the theme. If Ratosai had actually put most effort of painting into "VuTales+L4D2=FTW!<3" then he most likely would have won.
...at least thats my opinion. DON'T BASH MY HEAD IN PL0X.
EDIT: Eugh..I don't wanna add fuel to the fire, but Infamous, you can't tell people to not bash others when you say that everyone else's submissions aren't prize-worthy. Same as bashing.
